Salma Azmy is a pre-registered counsellor.
Salma’s work focuses on supporting people who’ve experienced trauma—whether that comes from childhood experiences, ongoing stress, or the demands of high-intensity roles like those in emergency services. She also loves working with neurodivergent children and youth, including those with ADHD and Autism, helping them make sense of their feelings, understand themselves more deeply, and see their own strengths.
Her approach is grounded in person-centred therapy, where safety, trust, and real connection are at the heart of the work. She draws from a range of approaches, including narrative therapy, CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Satir, and attachment-based models, depending on what feels most helpful for each person. Salma also holds certifications in Understanding Fire Culture and Trauma (Level 1) and Understanding Emergency Worker Trauma (Level 2), which inform her work with first responders and their families.
Salma brings a warm, easygoing energy to her sessions and believes that real change happens when people feel seen, supported, and accepted just as they are. Her background in education assistance and crisis intervention taught her the importance of patience, adaptability, and meeting people exactly where they’re at.
Outside of session, you’ll probably find her outside—hiking, moving her body, or spending time in the community. She values play, curiosity, and creating small moments of ease, both in her work and in everyday life.

With an M.A in Counselling Psychology and B.A in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies, it’s safe to say I take a keen interest in human behaviour. My education in Counselling Psychology gave me the tools to look into the many facets of emotion, cognition, trauma, social systems and psychological underpinnings that guide our behaviour. Now, a decade into learning and working in the realm of mental health, I believe I have an awareness of human development that is not just grounded in science and research—but spoken experience.

Before starting my own clinical practice, I gained knowledge working in residential treatment for substance abuse, and in non-profit outreach with teens and families. It is within the above fields that I began working with a wide range of clients using the framework of Family Systems and Attachment. I am a trained Emotion Focused counsellor, but bring in a variety of cognitive and somatic approaches.

I value the therapeutic relationship more than anything and believe real change can only happen with trust, a little laughter and lots of vulnerability.

Morgan is an associate counsellor at Wild/Kind supporting people navigating stress, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and relational challenges. She has a special interest in working with people affected by dementia/Alzheimer’s disease who are seeking a space to process their changing relationship, losses (anticipatory, ambiguous), and family dynamics. She also enjoys and has experience with supporting people living with an eating disorder and body image concerns, as well as working with students exploring identity, understanding perfectionism and procrastination, and coping with academic and life pressures.
Her approach is relational and trauma-informed, grounded in safety, trust, and collaboration from the beginning. Drawing from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, somatic approaches, and CBT/DBT, Morgan tailors her work to each person’s needs. She prioritizes autonomy, self-trust, and the parts of you that have helped you get here, while also acknowledging the impact of systemic and cultural factors that can shape our experiences. At this time, Morgan sees individuals navigating all concerns and families/partners affected by dementia.
Calm, approachable, and relational, Morgan believes real growth comes from feeling understood and supported. Outside the therapy room, she enjoys walking her dog in the forest, trying new coffee shops, staying active through biking, skiing, and yoga, and spending time cooking and creating with her family.
